Missions Lifeline 2026

It is in the books! For those of you who were not able to attend Missions Lifeline, it was the best one out of the last three years (they get better each year). Dr. Clark is a great speaker and he definitely supports Indiana Baptists and WMU. In attending his breakout session on Evangelism I discovered he is also a very good and understandable teacher (almost makes me want to go back to college).

The missionary speaker was also very good; however, I must admit I am biased. I met Matt and Amanda Hadden over 10 years ago at my church in Georgia. My church supported them for many years for a week of camp at Chunku Waste, in Porcupine, SD. I will finally be going there on a mission trip at the end of this month. There were other excellent breakout sessions but we only had time to attend two. I heard many good comments on the other breakout sessions that I would have loved to attend.

I did, however, find the time to visit the coffee truck after lunch. Speaking of lunch – the Indiana Disaster Response (DR) folks were the heroes of the day! They cooked us a delicious BBQ lunch (chicken tenders for the kiddos) and as lunch was ready, served, and cleaned up they started leaving, as each of their job(s) were completed, to return to responding to the flooding disasters. Thank God and all praise to God for those who serve others like our Indiana DR serves.

A big shout out to Pastor Kinion and Calvary Baptist Church, they were such sweet hosts.

It was a wonderful day of fellowship; worshipping in song with Alex and Ali Rose Darnall; learning; commissioning others to serve; making new friends; and enjoying the blessings of God through others who were willing to serve God through their talents.
